The gravity from these galaxies is strong enough to bend light. Known as MACS J0416.1-2403 (say that three times fast!), this cluster of galaxies weighs as much as a million billion Suns! Its gravity is so powerful that it bends, magnifies, and brightens the light from objects far behind it in a phenomenon called gravitational lensing, seen as the warped objects throughout this cluster.
